QODBC OEM Program

QODBC Desktop Edition OEM Packs

QODBC can be purchased directly by developers
for use in their applications in OEM Packs of 15
for BIG dollar savings!

The OEM Packs of the Desktop Edition of the QODBC Driver for QuickBooks allows registered developers* to create applications based on data in QuickBooks with the ease of the standard driver but at a greatly reduced deployment cost as shown below. Registered Developers also qualify to advertise their products in our QODBC Worldwide Solutions Marketplace Catalogue.

The OEM Packs of the Desktop Edition of QODBC also allows use by end-users using their own desktop applications, but you must have already purchased your own Read-Write QODBC Desktop Edition license before you can order QODBC OEM 15 packs.

The main difference between the Desktop Edition and OEM Packs is that developer's are required to handle all support for any client using a OEM pack CD Key of QODBC Desktop Edition. There's no post sales support for OEM Packs and they can't be upgraded.

QODBC works with the Australian, New Zealand and Singapore editions of QuickBooks QBi 2009/10 (without multi-currency support), 2008/09, 2007/08, 2006/07, 2005/06, 2004 and 2003 Pro, Premier, Accountant and Enterprise. QODBC doesn't work with QuickBooks EasyStart, Accounting (formally known as Lite), Plus or Small Business Editions.

Use of the OEM Version
The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) version of the QODBC driver for QuickBooks requires a working knowledge of the standard QODBC Desktop driver installation and operation, and is functionally the same.

*Requirements and Registering End Users
The developer must purchase a Read-Write QODBC Desktop Edition master license, and then purchase a 15 pack CD Key, which can be used at any time when you are prepared to install them.

OEM CD Key packs can be purchased in packs of 15 units or either Read-Only or Read-Write licenses. All licenses are for a single installed machine.
QODBC is locked to each copy computer and therefore requires a license for each computer it's used with (basically a OEM seat for each computer).
